Eloping in the Wild West: Morgan & Jeremy’s Grand Teton Wedding

Morgan and Jeremy’s love story began in New York—but their forever started in the heart of the wild, majestic West. They flew me out to the Grand Tetons in Wyoming to document their intimate elopement, and it was nothing short of magical.

We kicked off the day just before the ceremony, meeting at the historic Mormon Row, nestled just outside of Grand Teton National Park. Morgan’s mom helped her button up her dress in the fresh mountain air while guests gathered quietly nearby. The anticipation in the air was sweet and calm—the kind of peace you only get in a place like Wyoming.

Morgan walked a quiet trail lined with her closest loved ones, meeting Jeremy at an imaginary altar with the snow-capped peaks towering behind them. Her best friend Emma officiated their heartfelt ceremony, and moments later, they sealed it all with a kiss—officially Mr. and Mrs.

After some family portraits, it was time for the three of us to explore. We wandered the open fields and iconic barns of Mormon Row, surrounded by 360-degree views of pure natural beauty. Cowboy hats, cowgirl boots, and wide Western skies made for a setting that couldn’t have fit Morgan and Jeremy more perfectly. With blue skies above and the Tetons still dressed in snow, every corner we turned felt like a scene from a dream.

Next, we headed into the national park to chase even closer views of the mountains. We stopped at multiple scenic spots along the way, letting the moments unfold naturally, taking our time with each frame. None of us could believe just how much snow still covered the park—it added this wild, untouched feeling to everything.

Eventually, we parted ways for a bit to make the drive back toward their Airbnb. Of course, a quick stop in Jackson Hole was a must—for some lunch and a little downtown charm.

On the drive back, we found a quiet pull-off spot with a winding river in the foreground and mountain views that looked painted on. We wrapped up their bridal portraits here, slow and easy, just soaking in the last bits of golden light.

Then, they welcomed me into their Airbnb, where they popped champagne and settled into a cozy dinner with their closest people. The kind of ending that felt less like “goodbye” and more like just the beginning.
